Message from the CEO

Dear Business Partners,

Turkish Airlines continues to grow. We would like to share with you the pleasure of achieving our goals and the excitement of offering new services at Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Cargo, a sub-brand of Turkish Airlines, has consistently grown since 2000 and has continued this up-trend over the last two years, despite the global recession, while other airline and carriers cut back on their capacity and traffic. In 2010, cargo and postal carriage was around 313.517 tons, however in 2011 it has been around 387.703 tons recorded by increasing %23.7. In a side of that, first period of the year; Flight Ton Kilometer (F.T.K.) growth was %6.2. Turkish Cargo sits in first place and became the rising star in the industry. We have ordered two new-generation large-bodied Airbus A330-200F cargo aircraft already and 3 more Airbus A330-200F in 2012, 2013 2014. This allowed Turkish Cargo to arrange direct scheduled cargo flights over long-distance destinations, like Soth Korea and Hong Kong. Consequently, the number of scheduled destinations increased to 33 including the American continents, Africa, and the Far East.
