Expo 2020 at Izmir

Izmir is the most pretentious city to organize EXPO 2020 among others. To organize EXPO 2020 in any city, which will be selected by BIE delegates votes. Izmir has been showed himself at BIEs’ 150th General Assembly by Transport, Shipping and Communications Minister Mr. Binali YILDIRIM. After Mr. YILDIRIM’S speech, EXPO 2020 İzmir Presentation Film has been watched and the lastly Governor of Izmir and CEO of Expo 2020 Mr. M. Cahit Kıraç gave a short brief to delegates. Thus; the first presentation of the candidates has been done.

Mr. YILDIRIM said that; Republic of Turkey is ready and considerably eager for İzmir to be candidate for EXPO 2020 and to be hosting this great organization.
