Turkish Cargo Makes a Strong Impression on Air Cargo Europe 2017


Turkish Cargo attended Air Cargo Europe 2017, the world's leading trade fair for air cargo held in Munich between May 9-12, gathering 120 companies and 15.000 visitors from transportation services, aircraft manufacturers, forwarding and cargo services, customs services and airline companies. During the trade fair, hosted by the Central and Southern European Regional Cargo Management and held for the 8th time this year in order to gather the leading companies in global air cargo industry, Mr. Turhan Ozen, Chief Cargo Officer, Mr. Seref Kazanci, SVP, Cargo, Mr. Halit Anlatan and Mr. Serdar Demir, Chief Officers, attended the Turkish Cargo booth and welcomed our business partners.

Contacts have been established with the representatives of 170 companies, in total, including customers, global forwarders and agents, local authorities, GHA, GSA, national and international media and airline companies, yielding highly fruitful results for our Company's cargo operations. Moreover, comprehensive information has been provided to the global transportation and logistics companies, as well as the cargo agents, regarding Turkish Cargo services, the current fleet and network structure besides supply of additional capacity to arise with the new aircrafts.

A dinner organization has been held on the first day to strengthen the bilateral relations with the leading European cargo agents, supporting Turkish Cargo, and attended by all senior executives of Turkish Cargo. Following the welcoming cocktail, Mr. Turhan Ozen, Chief Cargo Officer, made the key-note speech as accompanied by live music performance.

At the panel titled "Pharma Logistics in the Airfreight Industry", held for the first time this year by Air Cargo News under the sponsorship of Turkish Cargo and widely acclaimed by the participants of the trade fair, Mr. Turhan Ozen, Chief Cargo Officer, and the other important representatives of the industry found theopportunity to discuss the importance and future of transportation of medicines for the air cargo industry. Mr. Ozen underlined that the sponsorship of Turkish Cargo for the medicines panel, held during Air Cargo Europe 2017 trade fair, is an important initiative taken for the brand's vision in transportation of medicines, as well as the contribution of this vision to the air cargo industry and the development actions carried out in line with the 3rd Airport. He added that this trade fair is an ideally-suited environment where the services and existence of Turkish Cargo can be made known by the top-level decision makers of the industry by means of special conferences.
